The circulatory system is the system in a person's body that helps the blood circulate, or move around.

There are different parts of the circulatory system. The main parts are the heart, arteries, capillaries, and veins.

When blood is in the heart, it receives a lot of oxygen. It then travels out of the heart and through the arteries. This distributes the oxygen through the whole body.

After the oxygen has been spread through the body, it travels back to the heart through the veins.

The blood circulates this way over and over to continue to spread oxygen through our bodies.

Drugs are bad for the circulatory system. Most drugs go right into the bloodstream. This means they also go to the heart and every part of a person's body.

If you know someone who is using drugs, tell them how they are harming their circulatory systems.
