The RCX is the heart of the Lego System. RCX stands for Robotic Command Explorer. The RCX reads infrared beams from the tower you hook up to your computer. You use a program that you make and the RCX reads the program and makes the robot move certain moters and whether to react to a certain amount of light or sense of touch. This allows the robot to perform certain amounts of things for it to do. The RCX is the yellow block on the robot. The RCX is where you hook up the motors and all the wires that attatch to the sensors.
