MARGARET PETERSON HADDIX
Margaret Peterson Haddix was born near Washington Courthouse, Ohio. Her former occupation, for several years, was as a reporter for the Indianapolis News. She also taught at Danville Area Community College, in Danville Illinois. She has written Running Out of Time, Don’t You Dare Read This, Mrs. Dunphrey, Leaving Fisher, Among the Hidden, Among the Impostors, Among the Betrayed, and Take Offs and Landings. She also published The Girl with 500 Middle Names, and Because of Anya. She has also written Fine?, and Going Through the Motions. One essay for educators she wrote and published is called "Dear Teachers." Her current residence is in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. She is married and has two children, Connor and Meredith.
