BLACKBEARD

Blackbeard was the nickname of an English pirate, Edward Teach, who attacked ships in the Caribbean and along the Atlantic coast of North America from 1716 to 1718. His conquests are said to have included more than 400 vessels and, in terms of sheer numbers, are rivaled only by the feats of Sir Henry Morgan.
