Georgia was first
settled by English and African
people. James Oglethorpe took debtors and others to Georgia.
The climate was warm and good for farming.
The land got hillier towards the north, and flatter towards the
south. The Government was located temporarily
Head's fort in Wilkes County from Feb.1780 to July
1781. The natural resources were really
good wood for buildings. The resources for
living was good soil for growing
food. The reason they left was
because the debtors wanted to be free.
