Born on June 12, 1929, Anne Frank, a German- Jewish teenager, was forced to go into hiding during the Holocaust. She and her family, along with four others, spent twenty-five months during World War II in an annex of rooms above her father's office in Amsterdam. Before Anne moved into the Annex she received a diary for her 13th birthday . In her diary she wrote about the hardships, feelings, thoughts about others, and life in the Annex. After being betrayed and turned into the Nazis, Anne, her family, and the others were arrested and deported to Nazis concentration camps. In March of 1945, nine months after they were arrested, Anne Frank died of typhus at Bergen-Belsen. When the Annex had been searched the diary had been found by Miep Gies. The diary was returned to the only surviver Otto Frank, Anne's father. Otto had the diary published and it is still on publication in the Anne Frank Muesuem. Our Promote Website is going to provide information about Anne Frank.
