The Lord of the Flies

    This book was written by William Gerald Golding, an author
from, England.  This book is about a group of young boys who were stranded on an island, and about how they tried to govern themselves on the island, and how that attempt failed.
  

 This book was published in 1954, and it was William Goldings' first novel.     This novel is about a large number of young boys, ages 6 to 12, and they were stranded on a Tropical island.

    They were being evacuated and their plane was shot down.  Overall the two boys obtained a conch shelled and this was used to represent order.  A leader arises, Jack, who was a choir leader, and act as the leader of the other castaways.
