In order for you to be a band-o you have to, first and foremost, be in band. But that is only the first level of  being a band-o which means you are only a level one band-o. What determines the other levels is how much you are involved in band, how much time you devote to band, your willingness to miss school for band related activities. Listening to band related music, walking down the hall in step with your friends, your devotion to band and even creating a band related web site in your free time helps determine what level of a band-o you are.

    My name is Matt and I am very involved in our school's band program. I play the trumpet, which is the best instrument period. I enjoy listening to jazz in my free time, mostly trumpet jazz though. Some of my favorite players include Chuck Mangione, Chris Botti, Chet Baker, and Rick Braun. I'm currently 2nd chair in our advanced symphonic and jazz band. I'm the highest level band-o there is!

    My name is Amber. I enjoy listening to music. I play the flute, clarinet, and guitar. My favorite TV show is Charmed. I think that Matt is wrong about the trumpet being the best instrument.

    My name is Shanice. I am a junior in band. I play the flute. My favorite TV show is Jimmy Neutron. I also think that Matt is wrong about the trumpet being the best instrument. I think the best instrument is the wonderful flute.
