The 1990’s was all about finding your personal style. From baby doll dresses to bleached hair, basically everything was in style.
In 1991 they wore the Puffa jackets they were worn by the skinny “bovver boys”. The James t-shirts were in. It went along with the James band. They girls wore the boots and baby doll dresses, while the men wore the army jackets.
With the next year came a fad called the “trouser madness”. This encouraged teens to wear their pants and trousers hanging off their waists. In 1998 the famous fashions were the maternity clothes. This was the fashion followed by famous singing groups or the role models.
In 1999 they wore the party fashion, but that fad didn’t last long. Also everyone went cell phone crazy and text messaging became the way of communication. The fashion in 1999 was also preparing for the fashion to come in 2000.
